Starting Out
It was 2017 and I was sitting in my apartment on a used couch, trying to buy my first crypto on Coinbase. I saw three choices of coins I could buy with my debit card: Bitcoin, Ether, and Litecoin. I had no idea what any of them were or why they were different prices. Should I just buy the cheapest one? I wondered. Or buy a little of all three? I didn’t even know what I was choosing from. I didn’t buy Bitcoin that day because I thought it was too expensive. Instead I bought some Litecoin, and then I accidentally bought Ether twice (a very happy mistake). After making my purchases, I put my phone down in complete bewilderment with no idea what I had actually bought.
My cousin had recently gone deep into crypto and he convinced me to try it. I was lucky he was there early on to help me get started. He convinced me to buy a Ledger wallet, take the coins off Coinbase, and self-custody them. He gave me a brief “how-to,” but overall I was still on my own. I watched countless YouTube videos, some more useful than others, and read every whitepaper I could find. Over time I started to understand the terminology and why Bitcoin was such a breakthrough, but it took me a long time and I made countless mistakes along the way. And the truth is most beginners today face the same confusion I did back then.
Why I Created Crypto Confidence School
I know what it’s like to be lost. It’s not fun. And yes, there are platforms that now teach crypto but they are either selling you something or charging an unfair amount of money. And most of these platforms provide some prerecord videos and call it a day. I don’t think that’s education. Sure if you watch enough videos you will figure it out (I did) but that’s time wasted. And time is all we have. So I launched Crypto Confidence School to speed up the process.
What Makes Crypto Confidence Special?
I am sure you are aware that you have many other choices for learning about crypto, so why should you learn from me? Here are ten reason.
I have worked full time in the crypto industry since 2020 for notable brands like OKX, Abra, and Ripple. I have seen behind the curtain and I know how the industry really works.
I truly believe that Bitcoin and crypto are making the world a better place and are not just a cash grab.
My career mission is to help as many people as possible start using crypto because I believe it protects personal freedom in a world where technology is becoming more centralized. And the more people who use it, the more effective it becomes for everyone.
My classes are live and weekly, and you can ask whatever you want during each session.

I will not push you into buying risky tokens.
I provide a safe environment to ask your questions.
I teach with simple step by step explanations.
I believe in both theory and practice. You must understand the theory, but you must also know how to use the software.
I intend to keep the School small and manageable instead of onboarding thousands of people. My goal is for Crypto Confidence to provide quality education, not mass enrollment.
